Over the past many years, Michael du Preez, a professional musician/composer and recording artiste, has been busy composing exciting Choral and Gospel music. Now finally with the advent of the internet we are able to post his music worldwide in specific formats. MIKELA GOSPEL SINGERS
We are a South African Gospel Singing Group, called the Mikela Gospel Singers. Our purpose is to spread the WORD OF GOD through music worldwide. To this end we have appeared on national television and have performed to various audiences and congregations throughout Johannesburg. NO ORDINARY MAN – a Musical Revelation Cantata has been produced and recorded by our Group. We would like to see choirs and singing groups throughout the world performing this life changing work to audiences and congregations alike. A special Score Pack (SATB, Solos and full piano score) has been designed to facilitate an easy way for choirs and singing groups to learn this work. The Score Pack consists of the following: A full 90 page Piano Score which includes SATB parts, Solo parts, Guitar chord symbols (see clips for examples) and Narration text with music under plus the complete written text.
A full CD, featuring the Mikela Gospel Singers, of the entire work which can be downloaded and reproduced to sell at performances to raise funds.
A full CD backtrack with chorus voices only (no Soloists). This CD can be used as a backtrack to enhance the chorus voices at any live performances.
A chorus backtrack Parts CD featuring Soprano voices only (for quick and easy parts learning for the Sopranos).
A chorus backtrack Parts CD featuring Alto voices only (for quick and easy parts learning for the Altos).
A chorus backtrack Parts CD featuring Tenor voices only (for quick and easy parts learning for Tenors).
A chorus backtrack Parts CD featuring Bass voices only (for quick and easy parts learning for Basses).
The same backtrack CD encompassing the 4 Parts CD’s above, but with no Chorus or Solo voices (this CD can be used by the Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses to practice their Chorus parts together, after they have learned them separately, using the above Parts CD’s.
Should you be interested in purchasing the Score Pack but you are unsure of the suitability of the Cantata NO ORDINARY MAN, we suggest you purchase the full CD first as recorded by the Mikela Gospel Singers before committing to the Score Pack.
