Michael is a professional pianist of the highest caliber and apart from numerous other singing albums and singles to his credit, has also composed many other works, songs, Gospel songs, Cantatas as well as having written a full length South African Musical entitled, 'A Different Dance' and an almost completed grand Opera entitled, 'Adam Tas'.As a published author Michael has also co-written two music textbooks entitled 'A Comprehensive Guide to Improvisation, Composition and Arranging' Part 1 and Part 2.

Michael has also completed his first Young Adult Adventure Novel, entitled, 'Justice of the Wild'.
